Maine, by J. Courtney Sullivan is one of my latest obsessions. Her first novel, Commencement, was superb. Needless to say, she kept up the good work in her latest novel, Maine. It deals with the intricacies of female relationships, family relationships, and personal secrets. It is told in the perspective of four women in the Kelleher family, all from different generations.
It is touching, moving, and makes you look at life a little differently.
After reading this, you will want to visit Maine, if you haven’t already done so.
Bravo Sullivan, as this is yet another masterpiece.
