Admission, by Jean Hanff Korelitz, was one of the titles on the most recent “Weekend Wish List”. I just finished reading it, and I was not disappointed. For those of you that enjoyed Commencement, by J. Courtney Sullivan, you will most definitely enjoy this as well!
The story centers around Portia Nathan, 38, and a Princeton Admissions Officer. This story is so beyond the college admission process. It deals with the choices we make as a young adult, very often in the midst of our college careers, and how the outcome of many of the choices will always find a way to resurface.
It will take you back to your senior year of high school, your college years, and the whirlwind of post-graduation reality.
It will make you smile, it might make you cry, and it will certainly surprise you.
I’m going to put this on the Momma Book Club list as well!
