I recently read Sisterhood Everlasting, by Ann Brashares, and I just adored it. Each chapter of Sisterhood Everlasting starts with a specific quote that relates to the theme/mood of the chapter. They’re beautiful quotes! Amazing teaching tools for journal entries, critical lens practice, and they will just make you smile.
“If you are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life.” ~ Oscar Wilde
To make a prairie it takes a clover and one bee,
One clover, and a bee,
And a revery.
The revery alone will do
If bees are few.

This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper ~ T.S. Eliot
And for all our inventions, in matters of love loss,we’ve no recourse at all. ~ The Shins

“Fate is not an eagle, it creeps like a rat.” ~ Elizabeth Bowen
I figure I basically am a ghost. I think we all are. ~ John Astin
I’m not going to write the rest of them, you’ll just have to read the book! Sisterhood Everlasting, by Ann Brashares.
