A Write Teacher Review: Island of Lost Girls

Hello Friends!

I hope you all are having an excellent weekend so far! I spent my Friday night engrossed in Island of Lost Girls, by Jennifer McMahon.

It’s no secret that McMahon is one of my most recent author obsessions-her books are awesome! I was particularly interested in reading and reviewing Island of Lost Girls, being that it is her first novel. Needless to say, I was not disappointed!

The story centers around Rhonda, a woman in her early twenties, who is a little bit lost, a little bit lovelorn, and a little bit stuck in the past. Her whole world comes crashing down around her when she witnesses a little girl being kidnapped by an adult dressed in a gigantic white rabbit suit. Yes, I said a white rabbit suit. Rhonda then finds herself in a whirlwind of an investigation to find the little girl and the kidnapper, which brings back the vivid memories of her own friend who went missing, many years before. Just when you think you have the mystery figures out, McMahon throws you for a loop.

Jennifer McMahon truly takes you on a whirlwind journey to the Island of Lost Girls…it is a great read.

Get it now.
